Levies Covering Nemaha County Fire Protection Entities to Remain Unchanged Over Next Three Years

The Nemaha County Mutual Finance Organization (MFO) levies remain at .035377 per $100 valuation the next three years.
Wednesday, May 29, the Nemaha County Commissioners approved the levies of the county’s fire protection entities which have not changed for a number of years. The information needs to be submitted to state officials by Monday, July 1. Sheriff Brent Lottman told commissioners the earlier deadline results from a change in state law. Previously, the levies needed establishing by Sept. 1.
