June Warmer, Slightly Wetter Than Normal in Nemaha County

June averaged 4.4 degrees above average, was the warmest since 1988 and the seventh warmest on record. The maximum was 96 degrees on June 6th, while the minimum was 52 degrees on the 11th. There were 21 days with 90 degree weather, 14 more than normal and just two days shy of the entire year of 2019.

Precipitation totaled 4.53” or 0.29” above normal. There were nine days with measurable precipitation, which is the normal number of such days. The maximum daily precipitation received was 1.62” on the 27th. For the year there is a deficit of 1.15”
