June 5th Angel Ride Poker Run Will Benefit Children, Fiance’ of Late Grace Allgood

A fundraising effort scheduled Saturday, June 5 will assist survivors of the late Grace Allgood. Allgood died early Saturday morning, May 1 in a single vehicle rollover west of Peru.

The initial Angel Ride Poker Run gets underway with 11 a.m. registration at Southside Saloon at 1417 19th St. The fee will be $20 per individual or $35 per couple. Kickstands are up at noon. Plans are to return to Auburn at 6 p.m.

A beer garden will open at 3 p.m. The street surrounding Southside Saloon is being blocked off. Various entities have been donating items towards a drawing, and silent and live auctions. The live auction begins at 7 p.m. Live music is to be performed at 8 p.m.
