Johnson-Brock FFA Chapter’s Marketing Plan Team Captures Virtual State Championship

Eighteen Johnson-Brock FFA chapter members have been taking part in a variety of state virtual competitions over the past few months.

The third-year chapter qualified at the state level from district competitions early in the year. The April state conference was cancelled with the coronavirus pandemic.

Dawn Metschke, chapter adviser, notes the Nebraska State FFA Organization provided opportunities for students across the Cornhusker State to showcase their skills.

Career Development Events: A quintet of teams competed during the last half of July into the first week of August.

The Marketing Plan array won the state title Tuesday, Aug. 4. Logan Edwards, Elizabeth Hodges and Elaina Riley gave a plan based on a local business, Teten Agronomy, to judges via Zoom.
