Dec. 1 Olde Time Christmas in Brownville Features Many Activities, Lighted Attractions

The Merchants of Brownville invites everyone to join them for an Olde-Time Christmas in Brownville Saturday, Dec. 1. Activities begin at 7 a.m. continuing through 9 p.m.

The day features trolley rides, shopping, home tours, music, live theatre and more! The village’s Main Street and the Whiskey Run Creek Nature Trail will be illuminated! Refreshments are being served at several locations.

The weekend begins Friday, Nov. 30. From 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. that day as well as Dec. 1, the Nemaha County Market Shop opens with doughnuts, apple dumplings, hotdogs at lunch, and a potato bake and cookie walk. At 7:30 p.m. the Brownville Village Theatre is producing It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play by Joe Landry.

The Brownville Market opens at 7 a.m. Dec. 1 offering free coffee all day.
