Tonia Greiner, Chamber executive director, reports more people were taking time this year to decorate and get in the Christmas spirit. Warmer temperatures over the past several weeks resulted in 49 nominations, she notes. Community members, neighbors and friends assisted with the choices, Greiner said. “Every year the (Chamber) board of directors get together to tour the lights and judge the nominations. They have so much fun that this year they decided the community deserved the chance to come along and join in. That’s how The Chamber Express came about,” she explains. The Express offered two nights of family tours Thursday and Friday, Dec. 19 and 20. They started at 6 and 8 p.m. from the Crestview Shopping Center parking lot. The Chamber also an adults only night Saturday, Dec. 21.
