City Council Approves Funding for Auburn Birthday Celebration; Also Okays Property Bid, Transfer Agreement to Pinpoint Auburn

Auburn City Council addressed a light agenda for its Feb. 8 monthly meeting. Kim Beger, Auburn Administrative Assistant and Auburn Development Council Director, reported that the City of Auburn had recently become recertified in Nebraska’s Economic Development Certified Community (EDCC) Program. Auburn is among 4o communities to earn membership in the EDCC program.

Auburn’s 139th Birthday Celebration on May 1st

Leslie Clark presented a request for funding for Auburn Arts and Events related to Auburn’s 139th Birthday Celebration on Saturday, May 1. Clark said people with whom she has spoken are excited about the activity and looking forward to hopefully being able to celebrate this spring.
