Cara Williams, Ryan Zuhlke Join Johnson-Brock Public Schools Faculty in 2019-2020
A couple of Southeast Nebraska natives are newcomers to the Johnson-Brock Public Schools teaching staff.
Cara Williams takes over the Title I program. Ryan Zuhlke will be teaching junior and senior high school mathematics.
The 2001 Auburn High School graduate is the daughter of Mark and Judy DeBuhr. She will also be the head coach of the Lady Eagles volleyball team.
“I live in the district and it’s close to home. There‘s always been a great community pride for their school,” Williams stated what attracted her to Johnson-Brock.
“My goals are to have an impact on the students and to share my passion of learning with them. I love seeing the growth in students’ learning. I love being a positive role model in their lives. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids. Teaching is a rewarding career. It has a lot of positives. I love coaching,” she continued.
Previously, Williams taught 11 years at Lewiston in physical education, reading and Title I. She also was a two-year high school resource teacher at Beatrice.
