Auburn FFA Busy With Multiple Activities During First Semester

Members of Auburn FFA have been active in a number of ways during the chapter’s third year, said Ashton Bohling, adviser. On Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5, eight students from the chapter attended the Pathways to Careers conference in Grand Island. This is a leadership conference for FFA members regarding jobs in the agriculture industry. The students who went to the Pathways to Careers conference were Leanna Reeves, Emily Gill, Allie Gerking, Seth Zimmerman, Jacob Koch, Tristan Davis, Jonah Schuetz and Austin Youngquist. The first night, the students attended multiple workshops allowing the students to practice different leadership skills. On the second day, the students chose five different sessions to go to throughout the day. The sessions ranged from learning how to wire light switches, flying drones and learning about how they are used in agriculture as well as learning about Pheasants Forever.
