APS Board of Education Accepts Resignation of Klark Knipe; Hires Stevie Eickhoff as Art Instructor

Monday, April 8, the Auburn Public Schools (APS) Board of Education accepted the resignation of Klark Knipe. Knipe, seventh and eight grade science teacher, will be going into farming.

“I have enjoyed the past 11 years of teaching and being part of such a wonderful school district like Auburn. I will truly miss all of the students and teachers that have made me feel so welcome. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful group of people,” Knipe wrote in his letter.

Stevie Eickhoff was hired as the new seventh through 12th grade art teacher. Eickhoff, who lives in the Auburn area, is coming to APS from Rock Port, Mo. Public Schools. She succeeds Pam Pfeiffer, who will be teaching at Syracuse in 2019-2020.

“We are excited to see what she brings to our already successful program,” noted Marty Hughes, secondary principal.
