April Slightly Warmer Than Normal While Precipitation Below Average

After three consecutive months of below normal temperatures April averaged 1.0 degree above normal. The maximum temperature was 89 degrees on the 21st, while the minimum was 22 degrees on the 13th. There were five days with freezing mornings, while normal is six. If the 29 degree reading on the 14th holds as the final freeze of the spring, it will be nine days earlier than the normal spring freeze.
