AHS Recognizes Sydney Rogers Who Will Start Navy Basic Trng. Later This Summer

Sydney Rogers became the third Auburn High School (AHS) Class of 2020 graduate to receive her diploma before leaving to serve her nation.

Rogers, the daughter of Deric and Sara Franklin was recognized Monday afternoon, June 8. She will be entering the U.S. Navy, becoming the third member of her household to serve in that branch of the military. Her brother, Ryan Rogers, who recently joined the Navy returned for the ceremony. Sydney Rogers’ father was in the U.S. Navy from 1998 through 2007.
