CRANE WORK on the addition to the Auburn State Bank facility wrapped up last Friday afternoon.

On Monday, Oct. 2, members of two organizations joined together in improving the appearance of three Auburn locations.

The Auburn Bulldog softball team won four games Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6 and 7 punching their second consecutive ticket to the Class C state tournament.

The Peru State cheerleading squad has been very busy this summer and fall representing the College in a number of events, as well as, hosting a high school team camp and a youth cheer camp.

The Johnson-Brock Eagles got back on the winning track Friday night, Oct. 6 at DeWitt. The Eagles won 34-10 over Tri County.

Elizabeth Anne (Allgood) Lopez, daughter of Tyler Eugene and Garnett Leudean (Crabtree) Allgood, was born April 30, 1947 in Auburn, Nebraska.

Catherine “Cathy” Ann Parson, of Auburn, Nebraska, passed away on September 25, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society in Syracuse, Neb., at the age of 69 after a fierce battle with cancer.
