Bobcat Men Lose Both Peru State Classic Games

The Bobcat men’s basketball team hosted the Chargers of Briar Cliff University on Nov. 7 in the first annual Peru State Bobcat Classic.
The Chargers came out from the start “on fire” as they held a quick lead in the first six minutes. The Bobcats had to play catch-up the rest of the first half as Briar Cliff held a 46-27 lead at the half. In the second half, the Bobcats came out more aggressive as they cut a 40-point Chargers lead down to 18 with in two and a half minutes. The Chargers used some strong shooting to hold off the Bobcat run as they came away with a 90-68 victory.

Close Loss to Doane College
