Roberta Jane “Bobbie” Drennen, one of two daughters of Walter and Prudence (Beal) Finke, was born May 23, 1927, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Bobbie graduated from Maryville high school and attended Maryville college where she met Dewey Drennen.

In November of 1946, Bobbie and Dewey were united in marriage. They would be blessed with two daughters: Debbie and Kathy.

Bobbie was one to always stay busy, doing anything and everything from painting and crafts, to reading and quilts. She was a wonderful mother and will be dearly missed.

After a decline in health, Bobbie moved to the Good Samaritan Society-Auburn, where she passed away on November 25, 2016, having reached the age of 89 years, six months, and two days. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dewey, sister and brother-in-law Phil and Gene Tingwald.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Harry Dockwell of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Kathy and Jim Grant of Auburn, Neb.; grandchildren and spouses Katie and Kevin Cleary, Tracie Dockwell and Barry Binder; Kellie and Jimi Fogarty; David and Megin Grant; great-grandchildren Mollie and Leah Grant, Ryan and Charlie Fogarty; and many friends.

No services are planned. Burial of ashes will be with her husband in Ft. Logan National Cemetery at Denver, Colo.

Memorials are suggested to Shriners Hospital, Northwest Missouri State University, or Auburn Rescue Squad.

Services were entrusted to Hemmingsen Funeral Home in Auburn.
