APS Board of Education Will Discuss Adjusting 2017-2018 Budget with Cut in State Aid

The Auburn Public Schools (APS) Board of Education will consider a number of proposed adjustments to its 2017-2018 budget.
 
Monday night, Feb. 13, Superintendent Kevin Reiman told the board and administrators the district is facing another significant loss in state aid. Reiman said the initial prognosis indicates a loss of $283,000 in the coming year. During the 2016-2017 school year, APS lost $480,000 in state aid.
