Mary A. Price - December 29, 2012
1930-2012Mary Alice Price, of Auburn, Nebraska, age 82 years, five months and three days, formerly of Nebraska City, Nebraska, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn, Nebraska.
Mary Alice Langer was born on July 3, 1930, in Auburn, Nebraska, to Frank and Bernice Mable (Reeves) Langer.
From a previous marriage Mary had four children, two sons: Lavern Leroy Fass and Darrel Eugene Fass; and two daughters, Susan Kay Fass and Sharon Ann Fass. Mary was the homemaker for her family.
On February 26, 1983, Mary and Howard C. Price were united in marriage in Nebraska City, Nebraska. They made their home in Nebraska City until they moved to Auburn in 1992.
Mary enjoyed fine needlepoint crocheting and cooking for her family and friends.
Mary was preceded by her father on January 30, 1993; husband on June 14, 1994; mother on November 24, 1996 and son Darrel Eugene Fass in 1997.
Survivors include her children: son Lavern Leroy Fass of Peru, Nebraska; daughters, Susan Kay Fass Wooter of North Carolina and Sharon Ann Fass Ensor of Tecumseh, Nebraska; and other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 3, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Peterson Mortuary, 111 N. 11th St., Nebraska City. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary chapel.
The service is Friday, Jan. 4, at 10 a.m. at Peterson Mortuary Chapel, Nebraska City. The Rev. Jessie Brown of Christ The King Church of Nebraska City will officiate. Interment will be at Wyuka Cemetery, Nebraska City.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
