1993-201218, of Burlington Junction, Missouri — formerly of Humboldt, Nebraska — was born on May 22, 1993, in Syracuse, Nebraska. Her early years were spent in Pawnee City, where she attended kindergarten. Most of her life was spent in Humboldt, where she continued her schooling at HTRS through high school. While in high school, Cassidy participated in track, but especially loved socializing.
After high school, she moved to Burlington Junction, Mo., in June of 2011. Cassidy enjoyed everything about music, whether it would be singing, dancing, or just listening. She loved to play cards, board games, or any activities involving her family and friends. Cassidy was a kindred spirit who believed in living for the moment and that life should be lived with no regrets.
Cassidy and her unborn child left this world on Friday, April 6, 2012, at her residence in Burlington Junction having reached the age of 18 years, ten months, and 15 days.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents Archie and Gladyce (Nightingale) Ashman and friends Austin Glathar and George “Boomer” Shewey.
Cassidy is survived by her loving parents Cindy Troxel and Eric Eden of Humboldt; a sister Kaylee Troxel and her fiancé Adam Gibson of Oxford, Ohio; step-sister Chyenne Eden of Tecumseh, Nebr.; grandparents Lawrence and Millie Troxel of Pawnee City; soul mate Daniel Irvine and his children Jayla, Gavyn, and Dani of Burlington Junction, Mo.; uncles: Monte Troxel and his wife Tina of Scranton, Alaska; Terry Troxel and his wife Lisa of their last known address; Sam Troxel and his wife Pam of Ozark, Arkansas; an aunt Teresa Hinrichsen and her husband Doug of DuBois, Nebr.; cousins: Jessica, Chris, Jonathon, Plynn, Correy, Cody, Cheyenne, Colt, and Logan; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2012, at The Christian Church in Humboldt, with Howard Blecha officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, at the Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the mortuary.
Inurnment will be at the Humboldt Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be given to the Cassidy Troxel Youth Encouragement Fund. An account has been established for donation at any branch of the State Bank of Table Rock locations.
