Arbor Manor Steakhouse & Lounge, Auburn, is the site of the 2011 Legislative Forum presented by the Nebraska State Chamber of Commerce & Industry, in conjunction with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce. The Auburn forum is Monday, Oct. 17, at noon.

Several issues will face the Legislature in 2012. They include: tax policy, roads funding, labor law and the budget.
The Auburn forum is among 32 across Nebraska from Monday, Sept. 12-Wednesday, Nov. 9. The forums are designed for employers and their employees to get a firsthand look at the Legislative process, learn the issues and meet their elected representatives.
Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry officials said that this is a good time to review the issues that impact the business community. It is also important to let your state senator know your position on the challenges facing your operation. Business owners are encouraged to invite their state senator to tour your business, meet your employees and gain a better understanding of the economic impact your company has in your community.
