The Auburn Chamber of Commerce 2011 annual banquet is Monday, Oct. 24, at Arbor Manor Steakhouse and Lounge. Reservations are needed by Thursday, Oct. 13. Please call 402-274-3521 to make reservations.
Social hour is 5:30-7 p.m. A buffet style dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Awards are presented at 7:30 p.m. At 7:45 p.m., Auburn Mayor Scott Kudrna will present a State of the City Address. At 8:15 p.m. is networking and social hour.
Awards will be presented in the following categories:
Ambassador of the Year, for outstanding work with the Auburn Ambassadors.
Continuing Business, for continuing or improving an existing business in Auburn.
Youth Development, for consistent and honorable work with youth in Auburn.
Volunteer of the Year, for contributions made for the good of the community of Auburn without compensation.
Community Spirit, for contributions made for the better of the community in the aspect of tourism and events in Auburn.
