Cotton Team Wins PSC Football Booster Tourney

On a day where the teams encountered some rain, sun and heat, Dan Cotton’s team won the eighth annual Peru State College (PSC) Football Booster Club Golf Tournament. The tournament held at the Auburn Country Club was directed by Booster Club Board Member Matt Hug.

Other members of Cotton’s team were Terry Ratliff (Shenandoah, Iowa), Ron Perry (Auburn), and Mark Hahn (Overland Park, Kan.). The group shot a 59 and won the tournament by two strokes over the next best score.
Gaining the “honors” of having the high team score was Paul Fell’s team. Others who were golfing with Fell (Lincoln) were Lee Arellano (Lincoln), Don Stuart (Lincoln), and Bobcat Assistant Football Coach Lou Varley (Nebraska City). The Fell team shot a 74. Both teams received prizes for their efforts.
