Jessica Baker of Peru assumed the position of coalition director of Nemaha Advocates Drug & Alcohol Awareness (NADAA) Monday, Jan. 19. She was introduced to the coalition Wednesday, Jan. 21, at its meeting at Nemaha County Hospital. Baker encourages the public to become involved with the coalition, which needs interested participants to keep making a difference and to help encourage prevention. “We are looking for anyone who would like to bring their ideas or their concerns, including any local business as well as other entities. This is a community-driven coalition. We need input to better serve our community. If we know everyone’s concerns, we can better address them,” she continued.
