Syracuse hosted the Class B Area 1 Seniors American Legion Baseball Tournament July 22-27. The eight-team double-elimination tourney began Thursday, July 22 and concluded on Tuesday, July 27, with the Area champion qualifying for the Class B State Tournament at Schuyler.

Thursday, July 22:
Falls City beat Syracuse 6-4
Beatrice beat Crete 7-0
Fairbury beat Hickman 4-3
Nebraska City beat Auburn 4-1
Friday, July 23:
Crete beat Syracuse 7-3 as Colten Mach and Robbie Sattler each homered for the winners.
Hickman beat Auburn 1-0 as Blake Price threw a one-hitter, allowed one walk and struck out 14 Auburn batters. Cody Baack pitched the first four innings for Auburn before being relieved by Grant Cole as the locals fell one run short.  
Falls City beat Beatrice 6-5 as Allen Feek hit a walk-off single to score Jake Babb in the ninth inning for Falls City.
Nebraska City beat Fairbury 14-2 as Matt Russell throw a one-hitter for Nebraska City with eight strikeouts. Russell and Logan Ehlers combined to go 4 for 8 at the plate with two doubles, a home run and three RBSs.

Crete beat Fairbury
Beatrice beat Hickman
Nebraska City beat Falls City as Logan Ehler threw a one hitter and struck out 20 batters.
Sunday,  July 25:
Crete beat Beatrice 8-2: Evan Benson and Robbie Sattler combined on a three-hitter to lift Crete.
Monday, July 26:
