Dr. Stephanie Vinson joined Dr. Mike Speece Thursday, July 1, in practice at Town & Country Veterinary Clinic, P.C., along Highway 75 south of Auburn.

“It’s gone very well. We’re adjusting back to the area. It’s an area we’re familiar with,” Vinson said.
Her husband, Chris, is from Auburn. Vinson received her undergraduate degree from Peru State College. She graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and practiced veterinary medicine north of Columbia, Mo., for three years before coming to Auburn.
“Helping people help their animals has always been a passion of mine,” Vinson said was what motivated her to enter the veterinary medicine profession.
Vinson is a native of Louisville, Neb. and graduated from Louisville High School. She and her husband welcomed their first child, a son, Gavin, last spring.
Vinson said that she is looking to expand on the equine aspect of the veterinary medicine practice and the services provided in medicine and surgery of small animals.
