Friday, Sept. 10, is anticipated completion date of the Orscheln Farm & Home store along Highway 136 at the east edge of Auburn, said Nate Kelly of Empire Building Construction.

With pouring of interior concrete completed last week, many workers will be on site and the project will move forward, Kelly said.
Dry wall, electrical work, and heating and cooling work should begin this week, he said. Plumbers will be on site after interior walls are installed. Once dry wall work is completed, work will be underway on painting, interior work, countertops and cabinets, Kelly said.
The new Auburn store will be 22,000 square feet. That is about the same size as the Orscheln store at Tecumseh.
