Jamie Phillips Receives Lincoln Mayor’s Award of Excellence

 

Lincoln Mayor Chris Beutler recently presented the Mayor’s Award of Excellence for April to Jamie Phillips, Administrative Secretary for the Finance Director of the City of Lincoln.

The monthly award recognizes City employees who consistently provide exemplary service and work that demonstrates personal commitment to the City. The award was presented at the May 10 City Council meeting.
Phillips has worked for the City since 2003. Finance Director Don Herz, City Budget Officer Steve Hubka and the Mayor’s Chief of Staff, Rick Hoppe, nominated her in the categories of customer relations and productivity.
The nominators said Phillips is extremely organized and takes charge of organizing her projects in a clear and accurate manner. Hubka said Phillips performs all of her regular and extra job duties with a great degree of patience and friendliness. The honoree received a $100 U.S. savings bond, additional paid vacation as well as a plaque.
Jamie (Neddenriep) Phillips lives in Lincoln with her husband, Andrew and their daughters, Kaylie and Aubree. Jamie graduated from Johnson-Brock High School and Southeast Community College. She is the daughter of Dave and Debbie Neddenriep of Omaha and granddaughter of Shirley and the late Eldon Neddenriep of Johnson and Bill and Jawnie Grow of Auburn.
