Southeast District Health Department will receive sealed bids at the office of the Director, 2511 Schneider Ave, Auburn, Ne  68305 until March 15, 2013, 10:30 a.m. for lawn care and snow removal services at 2511 Schneider Ave, Auburn, Ne for a period of April 15, 2013 through March 31, 2014.

February 27, 2013
County Board of Commissioners of the County of Nemaha, State of Nebraska met on February 27, 2013, Commissioner’s Chambers, Nemaha County Courthouse, Auburn NE for a regular scheduled meeting.  Notice of meeting published in the Nemaha County Herald on February 21, 2013. The agenda for the meeting was kept continually current and available for public inspection at the office of Nemaha County Clerk during normal business hours and also on the Nemaha County website.  The agenda was held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the board and items for approval by the Board of Commissioners.  The Board of Commissioners has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting.

Luke Winkelman, Peru Rural Fire Department and Ron Bergmann, Nemaha Rural Fire Department visited with the Board regarding land in Nemaha County that is not included in a rural fire district.  Board will hold a public hearing, prior to June 1, 2013 to place the land in either Peru Rural Fire District or Nemaha Rural Fire District.
Public Hearing was held on February 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. to approve the 2013 – 2019 One & Six Year Plan for Highway Improvement for Nemaha County, Nebraska.  Notice of hearing was published in the Nemaha County Herald on February 7, 2013, February 14, 2013 and February 21, 2013 and also posted on the public bulletin boards at Carson National Bank, Auburn State Bank, and Nemaha County Courthouse on February 1, 2013.
