NEMAHA COUNTY Hospital staff honored Dr. Gary Ensz Tuesday morning, Dec. 4, at a reception at the hospital’s dining room.

Dr. Ensz and his wife, Kathy, greet Shirley Hines, who works in environmental services at the Auburn hospital. Dr. Ensz received the Nebraska Medical Association’s 2012 Physician of the Year honor earlier this fall. He has practiced medicine in Auburn for 33 1/2 years.
