Request for
Qualifications
The Village of Brownville, Nebraska is pursuing assistance from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Nebraska Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other funding agencies, to relocate its wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) to an alternative site that is less prone to inundation.
The Village of Brownville is seeking “Statement of Qualifications” from professional engineering firms interested in assisting Village in the design and eventual construction of a new WWTF and appropriate appurtenances to interconnect the integrated sanitary sewer collection system to the new plant.
Qualified firms are encouraged to submit a proposal to assist the Village in all needed services to engineer and design the project, assist with funding coordination, help secure the necessary permits, develop bidding documents, assist in the bidding process, assist the community in construction contract administration, and in construction observation for a completed project.
Statement of qualifications should, at a minimum, address the following factors:
1. Qualifications and technical expertise of the firm and “key personnel” (20 points)
2. Record of past performance (20 points)
3. Other important information (10 points)
Proposals will be evaluated based upon the scoring criteria shown above.
Proposals are limited to ten (10) pages or less.
Submittal of written materials only (six copies) must be received by the Village of Brownville, at the address identified below, no later than Wednesday, December 21, 2011. The Village reserves the right the right to reject any and all proposals received as a part of this request.

november 23, 2011
County Board of Commissioners of the County of Nemaha, State of Nebraska met on November 23, 2011, Commissioner’s Chambers, Nemaha County Courthouse, Auburn NE for a regular scheduled meeting. Notice of meeting published in the Nemaha County Herald on November 17, 2011. The agenda for the meeting was kept continually current and available for public inspection at the office of Nemaha County Clerk during normal business hours and also on the Nemaha County website. The agenda was held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the board and items for approval by the Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting.
