Lyda June Hinds - January 31, 2013

Lyda June Hinds, daughter of Thomas Jefferson Duncan II and Viva (Williams) Duncan, was born on June 12, 1928 in Beloit, Kansas. She was one of five children born to this union.
June graduated from high school and attended two years of college earning her teaching certificate.
She was united in marriage to Wayne Hinds on September 24, 1950 at the Avenue Methodist Church in Auburn, Nebraska. To this marriage one son David was born.
They made their home in Auburn for ten years and then moved to Ontario Canada for seven years. They next moved to Ste. Therese, Canada, where she lived until returning to Auburn in 2007.
Due to ill health June entered the Good Samaritan Society in Auburn where she passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013, having reached the age of 84 years, seven months, and 19 days. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne, son David, two sisters, and one brother.
Those left to mourn her passing are her sister Cora Lea Muse of Auburn; sister-in-law Beverly Sohnholz of Auburn; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service for June Hinds was held Monday February 4, at the Hall Funeral Chapel in Auburn.
Burial followed at the Bedford Cemetery near Howe, Neb.
