De’Ontae Pannell and Tyreece Palmer recently joined the Peru State College football coaching staff as graduate assistants. Their hiring was announced by Bobcat athletic director and head football coach Steve Schneider. Pannell comes to Peru State from West Bloomfield, Mich. He graduated from Penn State University in 2012 with a bachelor’s in crime, law, and justice. Pannell was a three-year starter on the offensive line for the Nittany Lions and played in four different bowl games in the Penn State uniform. He played all five positions on the offensive line. Pannell was drafted by the New Orleans Saints and made the roster as a rookie, but was cut at the end of the preseason.
