Notice is hereby given that Blue Rivers Area Agency on Aging is requesting financial assistance from the Federal Transit Administration, pursuant to the Federal Transit Act. City Council Proceedings
February 28, 2011
The Mayor and Council of the City of Auburn, Nemaha County, Nebraska, were called to meet at the City Hall at 1101 “J” Street on February 28, 2011, at 7:00 o’clock P.M., in Regular Meeting, open to the general public.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Scott Kudrna.  Upon roll call, the following members of the City Council were present:  Billings, Clark, Erickson, Holtzman, and Wittmann.  Absent:  Critser.
Mayor Kudrna announced “I am required by law to inform the public that a copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted on the North wall of these Chambers by the entrance door”.  
Council approved the February 14, 2011, meeting’s minutes as written.

No action was taken on the proposed ordinance to suspend Mayor pay for the rest of the current fiscal year.
The proposed ordinance to approve and adopt a personnel policy handbook was tabled until the next city council meeting.
The City Council approved the payment of ordinary and necessary city expenses in a timely manner with ratification by the City Council at the following Council meeting by the passage and adoption of Resolution No. 7-11.
The City Council confirmed the following appointments/reappointments:  Ed Johnson to the Board of Adjustment; Mike Zaruba and Jay Hauserman to the Airport Zoning Board; Lisa Rathjen to the Auburn Housing Authority; and Mike Gerdes to the ReUse ED Committee.
It was reported that the Auburn Development Council will be meeting later this week.
There being no further business to come before the Mayor and Council, the City Council adjourned.
