Special Meeting
March 30, 2010
The Board of Education of School District #29 of Nemaha County, Nebraska met on March 30, 2010 at the Superintendent’s Office for a special board meeting.  Notice of the meeting was posted at Carson National Bank, Auburn State Bank, Nemaha County Courthouse and the Central Office.
Beth Kernes Krause called the special meeting to order at 5:20 p.m.   
It was noted that the Opening Meetings Law poster was on display at the meeting.  
Roll call of members present were: Kernes Krause, Kennedy, Billesbach, Oestmann, Zaruba and Hemmingsen.
Motion by Zaruba and second by Oestmann to approve the agenda as presented.  Roll call vote:  Kennedy (yes), Billesbach (yes), Oestmann (yes), Hemmingsen (yes), Zaruba(yes) and Kernes Krause (yes).   Motion carried 6-0.
Visitors included: Amy Kroll and the Administrators.
Motion by Kennedy and second by Zaruba that the Board approve opening the pre-school for the 2010-2011 school year. .   Roll call vote:  Billesbach (yes), Oestmann (abstain ), Kernes Krause (yes), Zaruba (yes), Hemmingsen (yes) and Kennedy (yes).  Motion carried 5-0-1.
President Beth Kernes Krause adjourned the meeting at 5:40 p.m.
