Nemaha County Board Awards Bid for Heating/AC Law Enforcment Building

The Nemaha County Board of Commissioners met on March 24 in the Commissioner’s Chambers at the Courthouse.
Sealed bids were received for replacement of two existing heating and air conditioning rooftop units at the Nemaha County Law Enforcement Building from Bohl Plumbing & Heating, Inc., in the amount of  $15,708; Borrenpohl Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning $15,447; Control Services Inc. $19,300; Auburn Plumbing, Heating & A/C Inc., $13,350 for a 13 Seer package, $17,475 for 17 Seer package, $600 for hail guards for the 17 Seer package, and $2,400 for the Economizer Package. Board accepted the bid from Auburn Plumbing & Heating & A/C Inc. for the replacement of the heating and air conditioning rooftop units in the amount of $13,350, with bid price to be possibly lowered if a local crane option is utilized.
Kermit Moore, Chief Operating Officer at Nemaha County Hospital,  presented a price quote in the amount of $128,578.67 for a Gastroenterology System for the Nemaha County Hospital. Commissioners ratified the purchase of the Gastroenterology System in the amount of $128,578.67 as recommended by the Nemaha County Hospital Board.
The following fuel bids for April were received: Lueders Petroleum #2 Diesel $2.683, Unleaded $2.703; Farmers Coop #2 Diesel $2.64, Unleaded $2.69. The board voted to award the fuel bid for April to Farmers Coop for #2 Diesel and Unleaded.
Board members voted to adopt Resolution 10-13 implementing the Nemaha Natural Resources District Hazard Mitigation Plan.
Commissioners reappointed Sandra Bertelsen to a four-year term on the Nemaha County Visitors Committee.
