Auburn High School Jazz Band members are (in no particular order) Sara Meyer, Sofia Giles-Hnida, Chelsea Sturgeon, Martha Spangler, Greg Moran, Kelsey Krieger, Tyler Robke, Jamie Strickland, Greg Moran, Nathan Allgood, Kelsey Dixon, Tim Hager, Alexis Kirby, Brent Comstock, Ben Billesbach, Jacob Parker, Alex Rogge, Matthew Knapp, Greg Florence, Daniel Moberly and Michael Wellman. Trent Stump directs the ensemble which performed on Wednesday, March 17 at the Peru State College Jazz Festival. The public is welcome to attend the Monday, March 29 Big Band Dance at the 4-H Building. Johann Murray will teach dance steps from 6-7 p.m. The senior high students will perform at about 7 p.m. and the Middle School Band takes to the stage at 8 p.m. Refreshments will be served, with any donations received targeted for students to attend summer band camps.
