A big third inning propelled the Bellevue University Bruins baseball team to a nine-inning win over Peru State Monday afternoon in Peru. The Bruins scored six runs in the third and went on to win 9-5. Bellevue, second-ranked in the NAIA in the latest coaches’ poll, improved to 40-7 on the season. The Bobcats fell to 18-28 after dropping the non-conference game.
