Jana Smith, Nemaha County Assessor and the Nemaha County Board of Commissioners are pleased to announce that complete Nemaha County property information is now available to the public, 24/7, in an enhanced mapping format on the Internet at http://nemaha.gisworkshop.com through a partnership with GIS Workshop, Inc.
Visitors to the user-friendly mapping site will now be able to see a map of the property as well as the  county property information online  through the Property Search tool.  The search fields allow searches by parcel ID, owner, address or legal description.  Additional enhancements to the site include a measurement tool, quick identify tool,  photo tool and zoom in/out and aerial imagery slider bars.  
The Assessor’s office suggests that before you click on Proceed to Map; find the line above the word DISCLAIMER that has a HELP tab.  Please select the HELP tab and you will be able to read or print helpful information on how to use the website.   If you still have problems using the site, please call the Assessor’s office, 402-274-3820 for assistance.  Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed during noon hour.
